About
Hi, I’m Loz – a heart-led creative living a purposeful life on the Fleurieu Peninsula / Kaurna Yerta.
I grew up in the country, spending weekends on my grandparents’ farm, where I learned to appreciate simplicity, nature, and creativity using what’s at hand.
Nature deeply inspires me—through art, in daily life, and in the way it connects us. This connection runs through my family, especially my grandfather, a landscape painter. It’s a value rooted in ancient wisdom and the heart of The Kamala Life.
The Kamala Life began as a love letter to community—born from the desire to celebrate local talent through artisan markets, events, and storytelling.
The Kamala Life is also a love letter to my daughters.
In the chaos of everything and a few life challenges, I saw beauty through their eyes—and of course, I wanted to capture them as they continue to evolve and grow.
That experience inspired me to capture the beauty in others too—creators, dreamers, and those pouring their souls into their passion. That’s what I love to photograph most.
I’ve been doing photography for over three years now, and for me, it’s about the connection and experience just as much as the images that come from it.
